I get where you're coming from but strongly disagree. looking ragged is Ichigo's aesthetic. The coolest shot of him prior to bankai is him looking ragged as shit right after he regained shinigami powers. his bankai for soul society and hueco mundo gives him this ragged red and black cape, and most of his coolest moments in fights in that period are with his clothes half shredded and his mask falling to pieces. When he went berserk against Ulquiorra his clothes were torn to shreds. when he went FGT his clothes were torn to shreds.
a clean fit just doesn't suit Ichigo. because he doesn't win fight cleanly. He wins fights through copious wounds and getting torn the fuck up and through concentrating all his power into the tip of his sword and getsuga tensho
