I’ll be taking down some high spots on concrete to install laminate flooring in a 11x12 bedroom this weekend.
I have an 8 ft aluminum level, but I’ve seen another method where you use a 360 laser level and a stick with some markings in it to probe various points across the floor and find high and low spots.

Should I spring for a laser and do it that way? Or is it doable with just a beam level?
