Losing weapons / components can make Mechwarrior 5 mercs annoying Even if you do pick up a decent weapon the AI isn't so retarded that it doesn't know to take it out. You end up having to constantly hide it and shield it, and your dumbass crew don't give a fuck about getting their mechs trashed. You end up having to stockpile the good shit every chance you get, true to lore I suppose but still annoying.
