I've got a meeting with my supervisor next week. Hopefully I can work out what I'm supposed to be doing after that.

>I'm convinced that they push the clocks way higher than the chips can handle to make up for how bad they are compared to AMD ones.
I wish I knew enough about semiconductors to understand why that is. Are their chip designers just worse?
>Instead I decided to buy one of those recent cooling pad models that isolate the bottom to push more air into the laptop, seems to work pretty well so far, and it also keeps the dust from getting inside
I've not heard of those but that sounds pretty neat.
>Can it run on any system?
For now you can play around with it and try to install it on other things but whether your hardware will work is pretty hit and miss. I'm not sure how much longer it'll last since they moved from Intel chips to their own ARM ones. Up to Monterey ran pretty great on my t460 but Ventura gave me some issues because the onboard graphics stopped being supported. Worth playing around with if you're into tinkering.
>What would be the disadvantage of using it over Wiener?
Stuff is more likely to break since you're running it on hardware it's not designed for but I didn't have any problems with it until I updooted too far.
You can also develop Mac/iOS software if you're enough of a sadist.
>Oh yeah they've been pushing some weird stuff lately...
I do see some irony in moving to diet-China and it somehow being less restrictive in a lot of regards. Still, I want to do what I can to avoid being deported in case I do or say something I shouldn't.
>more security and (optimistically) performance updates
I think 11 is supposed to have better task scheduling for my CPU but I've not had any issues with that yet so I might just hold out until the extended security patches stop in like 2032. The right click changes are enough to put me off.

>do u always drink tea with milk?
I try to. Here they used condensed milk so it's better.
