I'm more surprised Warner Bros. hasn't done anything with the franchise other than letting NRS put a few Primal Rage arcade cabinets in the stage background for the last two Mortal Kombat entries. Seems like it'd be a good opportunity for a revival given the recent uptick in interest dinosaurs and giant monster films have had.
