this is the issue. i too can go to a chart, and prove volume. what exchange though? and what exchange is leading at the time? will you take all the exchanges together in a formula and count the volume then? what about the exchanges that come and go? point is it is far harder to quantify what you are trying to quantify, than you are quantifying. excluding the data of what exchanges were active and when, just using a dataset of 10 most famous exchanges TOGETHER to calculate total volume you will see a reduction in volume regardless of price in the longer term. point is, my method of measuring is immensely superior to yours and still faulty. you are free to do the work i havent done (the finer details). but yeah as a rough sketch mine is fairly accurate. the fact that you didnt mention what exchange and even if it was leading at your comparison times means you have no clue how to quantify data. godspeed
