Starting with the stuff outside of the Gym most of the trainers were barely noticeable, the Breeder with the Miltank got Bessy a little hurt, but only because of incredibly poor decisions on my end. The Swimmer got close to killing a few pokemon but only due to incredible luck and poor decisions on my end.
Calem was not a threat, amazing the difference an Evolution can do. I accidently sent out Bessy first, I needed her to fight through Absol and definitly through Froakie. Sinnamon got another try, and I watched her absorb a crit that I have seen kill her in previous timelines, she the one shot Froakie, but with Grassy Terrian and a Miracle Seed, I have been pretending Sinnamon is a grass type despite knowing she isn't, I mean closest thing I've had other than Kaguya.
While running to find the Flame Plate, I failed to get the 60% chance to get either of the very attractive Ground/Dragon types, and got Jenner instead. Had I realized what gym was next I would have used Bala as the suicide pivot in the gym instead. Justa learned a better fire move by level than Freyja has.
I started with Dimitrescu to use the 4x weakness Jumpluff has, because Dimitrescu is not getting a better opportunity, probably. To my surprise Weepinbell came out next, so I sent in Freyja because I felt safe and wanted to give her another metal, she killed it with more struggle than I would want. Then it was Gogoat, I sent Jenner out to probe the Gogoat's moveset, initially I planned on letting her die there, but after seeing it was using bulldoze, I sent Lucia in for immunity to Bulldozer, I then activated his Sap Sipper, and he showed me he knew more than Bulldozer, and Lucia had to switch out. Jenner got to fill her role as sacrifice, to bring Justa in. She poisoned Gogoat by going first, and got hit by Bulldoze, I didn't realized it was guaranteed to slow you, so I left her in to die. I think I would have anyway for the safe switch, which brought in Lucia who finished the fight.
