Almost every single MX clone switch I've tried has objectively not been better than Cherry's offerings, outside of Kailh's clickbar switches and the Aristotle style click-jacket. They are objectively superior to the design in MX Blue that all other click jackets copied, save for Outemu and TKC, who copied the Aristotle design. All MX clones I've tried I would not say are inherently better or worse than Cherry's offerings.
All the tactiles, especially the early/"at the top" tactile switches that are constantly creamed over these days like Pandas or U4T (and all their clones too) are SUUUPER fucking overhyped, and linears are also boring as shit. At least the slight-moderate scratch in MX Red/Black add some personality to linears.

The mild scratch in Cherry switches is legitimately not noticeable when typing at any respectable speed and especially not when GAYming. Go find an old, dirty Alps switch board to see what a truly shit switch feels like, and by that I mean try typing on switches that are prone to binding like dirty Alps switches are. Fucking horrid.
