I also think that WoW has lost a lot of its sould over the years and the writers are a bunch of hacks who cannot think outside of Good guy/Bad guy team vs team grand conflict narratives.

They don't know how to tell a good story without bloating it into some monstrous cosmic conspiracy cus they the only way they know of to give their narrative weight. They thin k everything needs to be somehow directly tied to World War WoW.
