the problem with nu-wows feel is a lack of adventure.
In old wow you were a free agent solving problems for people as you encountered them.

In nu-wow you are some sort of special solider following orders from your leadership, countering the schemes of a great enemy according to the grand plan of the "big people" who are actually running the show.

WoW was far more enjoyable and immersive when it kept its scope small. Dflight went back to this scale a lot and those parts of the expansion were better.
