I'm going to stick to my theory that Carol doesn't actually know about your Snowgrave shenanigans. That would be a lot more interesting of a dynamic, where she thinks Kris and the soul are still in her pocket but in reality everything has gotten completely out of her control and she basically lost another daughter because of (You). The scene of her realizing how badly she fucked up by putting the soul inside Kris would be so good, if that's how it plays out.
