I think they are nice actually.
The confessions dont happen in exactly the same place like previous FE supports (Goddess Tower, barracks) and many of them build on supports unlike many of 3H (I think only Mercedes references any previous support) ones.
Some are nice like Pannette uneasy because her parents eventually separated so she is afraid that will happen to her or Celine feeling down for ordering that massacre and Alear offers her support.
Its also kinda cute how your S support will creep on your bed during the bedtime events (Though hate how your S support bed time event is still random).
