This isn't how it works. Code being shit has tangible disadvantages and bad code is something you can prove scientifically.

AI art on the other hand is objectively good usually, people just hate it because of their biases which are usually just illogical. It's been proven time and time again that people prefer AI art to regular art all too often, even if they "hate" AI art.
