I have a box with multiple floors, these are my stairs. Even big pals get through them well, sometimes they'll randomly do work between floors with telepathy instead of walking there, and there are a couple pals that just get stuck on the stairs (not because of no fitting, but just the pal being wonky, ragnahawk for example) but they eventually unstuck themselves or just use telepathy from the stairs and work/eat fine.
