I'm pretty new to the hobby and I just realized highly competitive warhammer is so ridiculously stupid. I don't think the game is designed to even be played super seriously as the rules are pretty clumsy and it's kinda hard to be super accurate in your measurements.

People take 3D printed armies painted with black primer and spam one unit type. Why just not play chess if you give zero fucks about the aesthetics of the game?
