i 100% understand how cellphones are the front lines of the mass surveillance system. but THIS particular phone design was obviously discontinued because moving parts - especially tiny exterior parts are just a horrible design. that shit gonna get caught on something and break. or become a point of failure in 1000 otherways. its just a stupid design.
same reason like pic related never took off. sure some people want a wired internet/ethernet port on their laptop, but would rather have their laptop be lighter and thinner and not have little gimmicky pieces of shit that pop out of it like this.
moving parts = especially tiny delicate moving parts = are stupid on consumer technology.
