I strongly feel they saw is a much much better franchise than final destination.
Saw has better entries, and the worst saw movies are still much better than the worst final destination movies

Final destination could be "fun" but most of them have shitty acting and shitty plots. Whole saw might have its faults,it has a compelling and interesting plot from movie to movie.
And to be honest the traps on saw are more interesting than final destination
