It matters a lot to me on the street. I used to go to track days a few times a year but the street is more important. I hate fighting against all that weight when I want to take a corner hard, I shouldn't have to spend brainpower thinking about it.

I'm aware, it's a 3D curve of throttle and RPM. I just wanted to make my post less wordy and figured that "occasional rev to 5k" got the point across. I live in a rich neighborhood and everyone in their 500hp fancy shit drives exactly the same as they would in an '97 Accord. Then they'll tell you that redlining ruins engines while they do 10-15k mile oil changes. It's weird to me.
