Starkiller worked because he was essentially a based retard being led by the nose for most of the game and he ultimately dies when the emperor stopped holding back. Combine that with the inherent silliness of the shit you could do and it creates a light hearted atmosphere where you're just having fun, rather than trying to one up the established characters and story.
Disney won't let a male protagonist be that strong off the bat, and any female protagonist they write won't have the caveats that make power fantasy characters fun.
