You’re doing something wrong
Make sure your bean cup isnt dented even a little and thst it has a good seal with the gasket
Then lower your temp, i run my stove a little below medium. Whole process should take about 4 minutes. Keep the lid open so you can watch it pour out and once it just reaches the bottom of the spout, cut the heat and close the lid. Stir before pouring.
