I still can't believe the sheer fuck up Wizards did with the Any Number Of Cards series in FF and went with >>95995542 instead of the extremely obvious creature everyone wanted and which they already had plans to print multiple versions of (along with the whale chase card) anyways. No one gives a shit about Cid, Chocobos were the money maker.

Remove the top card and play lands ability, replace it with the +1/+0 gimmick the other birds got, keep the doubler, include a whole rainbow of neonink chocobos, and they would've created the most sought after deck in recent history, maybe ever. Who cares if it was a mythic rare, that would've just spurned on even more desperate buying.
