>as a result, Lianshi runs the exact same way Meng Huo does when she equips the Gloves
It's every bit as janky as I'm describing it. It's even worse if you equip Lianshi with Guan Yu's Crescent Blade class weapon. She has this incredibly broken running animation that was carelessly copy and pasted from Guan Yu's running animation.
