I understand that this is early artwork since the Bahrag aren't weird spiders, but what is this meant to convey? A life cycle? A yin/yang style duality?
In the middle I can identify:

5. ??? looks like a shadow leech

I understand that Av-Matoran eventually decay(?) into Bohrok shells unless that's no longer canon
