I wonder who is "in charge" of this?

does Lego seek out the movie tie-in, hoping to get extra money by having sets tied to (hopefully) popular movie?

or do the Movie People seek out Lego, and offer Lego money, to produce sets based on their movie, in order to help promote the film?

as fans of Lego, we all assume Lego sits back in a big leather chair, and gets to pick whatever they want. (Mmmmm... how about Fortnite?) like nobody in the world would refuse the offer to get Lego sets made for their product.

I guess my point is that this could be DC's fault, and not Lego? for not offering enough money to promote their movie
