Castle would be great. Ideally fantasy era but I would be down for anything so long as there are small and affordable sets so that it may be easily accessible to children. There’s definitely an audience for it. The cmf castle figures are consistently the most purchased figures. The not-themed castle sets are doing good on shelves. I never had a Nintendo console growing up so zelda is just not something I care about.

No I had great parents. I was just more into lego than video games so they got me legos mostly. Our first console was a ps2 and then later a 360. Surprisingly the only Nintendo console I’ve ever owned is a Wii U which I purchased for myself as an adult. 6482 from the 80s is a 4wide rescue helicopter that fits a stretcher but as you said it's a tandem rotor. It fits a battery box so it can easily be made shorter. And you could examine the rear door to see if it can be made less tall. And then there is 6691 which is a 4 wide regular rescue helicopter that fits a stretcher via a rear door. But the design is quite boxy and the skids make it wider. See if you can combine design elements from both.

The problem is the main characters. No one actually likes them. The villains are really cool and so are the villain sets. And everyone is confused by the tiny weird little dudes. But the sets are very cleverly designed. The builds are fun. They are sturdy and yet are designed to be taken apart easily. And I love the 3-in-1 nature of the sets. Also the color scheme is a mess and I think is the major turnoff for most people.

I haven't even watched the show, I just mindlessly consume Lego because it makes the voices stop temporarily. I like this Falcon a lot, but it is kind of weird how there are no clips or any kind of storage for extra weapons anywhere despite how much empty unused space there is inside. The front middle part (escape pod location if you are a faggot) also looks really bad and borderline unfinished when viewed head-on and I find it really strange that they just left a giant hole in the front of the ship when it could have easily been covered up. The minifigures are great as memes, but the Jedi Vader suffers pretty badly from not having any eye printing.

It's actually even worse on the OT Falcon set this is based on.
But I agree, they could have made much better use of the interior space. More accessories inside, hidden hatches, furniture, etc. But that also makes it perfect for modding and adding your own props and features. It being a meme is quite inviting to add a bunch of random bits and bobs inside. I've only added a coffee machine and an extra bed to mine but now I wanna fiddle with it even further.

Price is probably a big factor to that. I mean making a new complex mold with dual-molding just for one minifig is something they don't want to do unless it's important or there's no other way around it. As for a general fat torso mold, it would probably have to be round which would make it harder to print.
But obviously they mainly just want to avoid being offensive. Better to make a comically non-fat minifig than to attract the wrath of the people who look like her. Despite celebrating being 'plus-size', they also get offended it you depict them truthfully.

This has been the case across most themes since the whole "Adults Welcome" campaign in 2020. It's no longer a lego-fied version of something you like, it's a model of the thing you like and it just happens to be made out of Lego.

Sadly, I don't see this changing, I see it getting worse. The Jango helmet released this year makes the 2020 Boba helmet, which was already too overdone, look outdated. Eventually, Lego will lose its identity and just be a model maker, and when the millenials eventually phase out of the market, there won't be nostalgic adults to pick up the slack.

It also doesn't take much guessing to compare your 80s and early 90s bricks and notice they are heavier and fit together with greater strength. Also the cmfs are made in different factories and are of lower quality than minifigs from standard sets. On a positive note the newer clips are said to be less prone to breaking and the grey/white don't yellow as much as they did but time will tell.

Eh, it's more like Lego take their own internal metrics and the studio's to decide what movie properties get sets. For example, I'm sure they had a lot of data proving (probably before the first trailer even came out) that something like Thunderbolts didn't have a lot draw so they didn't make any sets for it, but Fantastic Four is trending MUCH higher so they at least made one for it.

Yes because they use clear ABS pellets and then dye them in the mix. This was "cheaper" to manufacture since you can carry more pellets in clear and then just apply the color they need instead of, say, running out of grey pellets for the new Star Sloppa sets.

Bio-plastics are very cool, like PLE (corn) being used for throwaway items like packaging for foods and bottles, but neither is as strong or durable like real plastic. 2030 is only 5 years from now but we are definitely going to see a drop in quality and most likely 2030 sets will not last 30-40 years like current Lego.
