Lego had a phone app that interacted with the tiles that came with the sets. They expected you to "pay" for that function, as if it was part of the set.

I sort of understand that Lego thought you were getting more "value" for your money, but there was nothing inside the box to justify the higher price. so on many levels, they were simply double-priced for no reason

there are technically things to cheer about. a lot of things.

for example, we ARE getting Star TREK Lego! Finally after decades of waiting and seething watching Star Wars do well.

of course, it's FOUR FREAKING HUNDREDS DOLLARS argh.

the way to be optimistic is to secure an income where $400 is easily blown on a toy. I suggest Rock Star. they make that kind of money.
