he did used to run a gooner capeshit blog and has a bunch of facebook posts ranting about comic media like an autist. I believe he's probably read some comics since he would randomly bring up off the cuff comic shit even before he got hired for Superman though probably not that much, more than most directors I'd imagine. Snyder outright admitted he didn't give a fuck about comics and only liked Watchmen because it had sex and violence in it.
