I am kind of interested in seeing how DC manages with capeshit that has more modest budgets. It's insane looking at the budgets for MCU movies where 200m is the floor and shit like the Marvels cost 300m+. I actually liked the first Shazam which was only like 80m.

Reaves and Pattison would sooner pull the plug than work under Gunn. The Batman 2 is the only elseworld project on that slate and it’s pretty obvious Gunn is, against his own judgement, green lighting it.
