The dawntrail MSQ is massively overhated and I think a lot of people could do with a refresher of the rest of the story, especially Heavensward, if they think this is a particularly low point in the lore. I agree that it sucks that the world, especially post-ancients and the Twelve is "demystified", but Dawntrail as a whole didn't do much to impact the overall lore.
Though I'm still very interested on how they're gonna expand
Also Wuk Lamat is fine. Yeah she's a retard and powers up really fast but, Dawntrail was always her and Sphene's story, not the WoL's. I promise if the races were swapped, she wouldn't be hated half as much as she is, and nobody would have bothered to autistically count how many lines she has.
