In addition to what other said, I think it's because when you download a mod for gear, it must replace an existing item and eventually you start you have a lot of overlap because it's far easier to find a full set of something and mark each piece as the "replacements" than it is to go find random pieces of gear to use for each slot.

Most of the mog station sets or the full sets you get from holiday events are very popular choices because it's lazy and easy to pick. The user just has to manually shut off one mod to get the other to work if they both affect the same item. This new set allows them to add another modded set without having that overlap. Idk if this is the actual reason I'm just theorizing... I don't have that many outfits personally but I have noticed like 4 of my mods all use the same exact gear in-game so I have to go through and change the priority or turn off one every time I swap.

XIV approaching (and often surpassing) Black Desert Online's pricing points for cash slop outfits and mounts is fucking mental. Especially considering I bought BDO one time, 11 years ago, and have had full access to log in and enjoy all of its updates for free ever since, whereas in XIV I'm expected to pay a monthly subscription just to log in at all. It's wild that more XIV players aren't saying something. Genuinely wild.

you know for a very long time I wanted hilda's hair as a usable option for player characters and now that it's been out for a while I have to admit to myself that this shit is just... mid. It looks terrible on every race, even managing to look bad on female miqo'te which is an impossible feat of strength for a hairstyle to pull off. Maybe it looks good on roes and viera because I've only tested it on petite female races??? Same thing with Azeymas they're both same shit different toilet kinda deal idk why I'm turned off by them so hard. It's so much worse in-game than in images honestly

Your job is to get off as many Phantom Rushes as possible, so pick a single target and harass the fuck out of them. Use Riddle of Wind with your boosted fireball to shred someone's HP and always make sure to use RoF right before using PR. Riddle of Earth is hard to use but activate it before diving people and resolve it when it has ~3 seconds left, it has around a second of delay before the heal goes through though. Set up a macro to auto use it at that time so you don't forget while you're mashing.
LB is for plapping someone out of the game and works through guard, you can use LB into riddle of fire into phantom rush to pretty much guarantee a kill.

The dawntrail MSQ is massively overhated and I think a lot of people could do with a refresher of the rest of the story, especially Heavensward, if they think this is a particularly low point in the lore. I agree that it sucks that the world, especially post-ancients and the Twelve is "demystified", but Dawntrail as a whole didn't do much to impact the overall lore.

Loaded question, but for the most part they're strong enough that a great player maining almost any job is going to be better than a good player chasing the S-tier jobs. It's also very different between LP and casuals. By a couple definitions, GNB is good because it can slot in anywhere and just do good damage without dying. Things that punch through this patch cycle's increased tankiness, like SAM, are excellent but require more support (so they don't always thrive in Casuals).
Maybe I'll get heat since I play it sometimes, but I think AST is a step below where it was before the nerfs, maybe A+ tier instead of S tier.

I'm specifically talking about the people who go on about le comfy adventure and then hate having to befriend tribes to earn their favor... like we have in the rest of the game, especially Heavensward. There's even a meta gag about how it's all Azem does in EW. A lot of specific plot point "criticisms" are present in other expansions and that's what rubs me the wrong way a lot of DT criticism. It's less that it's not bad/boring writing, and more that the ENTIRE MSQ is guilty of the exact same things that are only now deemed a problem.

One of my biggest criticisms is how little of a spotlight Krile got when this was teased as being her story too, when she finally got a spotlight. There's definitely areas where they went too far with Wuk's spotlight, ESPECIALLY in the Sphene trial, god that was horrible.
But aside from that, the amount of attention she got was expected, really. Maybe more of a focus on Erenville and Krile would have curbed this "too many lines!!!" issue people have conjured up but, the story was always gonna be about her.
