Rifujin already stated that his concept is a "shonen protagonist" that's tryhard to be the strongest. That's why he gets humbled by Orsted in the end. Either way, he's a fun character and still has a lot of potential in the sequel

I think MT is interesting. You're probably some kind of guy who thinks that we like MT for the drama or something. But I, atleast, like it because it's cool. Sure, I also like it a lot for the drama and the angst, but I think it has some interesting themes and characters even across all the animanga I've read it, which is why I'm into it. Not like I read MT for the fights either, if I do I'd be shilling something like Solo Leveling to high-heavens, but while I like Solo Leveling to some degree, there's a reason why I'm into it as much as into MT
