Sometimes I think it would be nice if the Phase Connect talents didnt go through the awful things that make them relatable to the likes of us. Then I hope they're just faking it for their job. But it's nice either way. It's crazy to me that there are people out there that can just be normal and enjoy the content they produce instead of buying into the kayfabe and parasocial aspect of it all.

I'm fairly certain that the vtuber industry is being produced as a test bed for creating a viable long term social mechanism for isolated/socially unviable individuals.
