Not really, the only real similarity is being unix based, but theres a lot of quirks and workflows that are mac exclusive that if you don't learn and use the experience will be lacking, and don't carry over from using linux (and btw, apple charges you to customize ur os).

Yes to all, apple (((conveniently))) offers you an already integrated cloud service (iCloud) for that, otherwise use any other cloud storage provider you want, or set up your own with syncthing.

A computer should be able to run games thoughbeit, modern gaming doesn't rely on consoles anymore and paying 500 eur for a toy should be criminal after a certain age. Macbooks sucking extreme ass at running games is undoubtedly a con.
