alcoholics anonymous is the worst cult on the planet. there are no fees or dues, no singular person or group of persons is in charge, you can show up or not whenever you please, and you can speak your mind and no one corrects you. the only requirement is a desire to stop drinking.

you aint gonna like it, but AA. it just works. first step is acknowledging you are powerless over alcohol. the tricky part is getting over your ego to understand only a Higher Power can relieve you of alcoholism. the best part is YOU get to choose your higher power. it can be anything as long as youre honest with yourself.
