A short time ago, it was announced that Jon Jones has retired from MMA as a sport. This comes as negotiations over development of his next fight have all but ceased. This is a long time coming, something Dana White, Hunter Campbell, Sean Shelby and many others have dedicated a lot of time to. Most of all, I would like to thank Ari Emmanuel. This must be said: This could not continue. We cannot have a division held up with a champion and interim unable to sign for a date.
