You know fighting games would only really ever die if people actually stop going to locals and tourneys, right? The only times that was close was the death of arcade culture in the 2000s and the first years of COVID. So the only thing that's "dying" are the tourist who won't even go to local and only have a passing interest in fighting games aka tourists.
