the players aren't the problem, bad contracts come from bad front office decisions. Don’t blame players for taking what’s offered, blame the GMs who offer it. Injury guarantees aren’t a safety net either. They rarely cover full salaries, and they encourage players to risk long term health just to stay employed. Why should the athletes generating billions have less protection than an office worker?
