This is kind of an out of left field question but I have been wondering, could a pokemon become a trainer? Has this ever been explored in the setting? Like there are pokemon types who are legit human intelligence or higher and they can even learn to talk regularly. If one of them wanted to become a pokemon trainer and collect badges would they just be laughed out of the arena or discriminated against by the humans? Could they enter the battle themselves as a roster pick? Would they even be allowed to collect a badge? What would other pokemon think of them?
