Star Wars is a swashbuckling Saturday matinee serial adventure for families, with mythological and spiritual undertones, filled with exotic, funky aliens with racial accents, bounty hunters, pirates, scoundrels, princesses, funny robots, good and evil wizards with laser swords, soldiers, epic ground/space battles, duels, exotic otherworldly locations, with some political themes and messages conveyed in an entertaining manner. It is fast, it is charming, it is humorous, it is fun, it is colorful, it is sincere, it is hopeful and optimistic, it is the opposite of cynical. Andor is none of that. It is the antithesis of Star Wars in virtually every way. It is made by and for people who despise and/or embarrassed of Star Wars. I mean, it's no surprise: Tony Gilroy said as much. He doesn't really like it. Bitter Gen X faggots are the ones who truly doomed this franchise. Lost their shit ever since Ewoks, and can't shut the fuck up ever since. Gen X idea of Star Wars is pic related. And it is awful.
