Not really, the RF is close but it's still a targa top with the powered mechanism to move the targa panel and C pillar structure, and all the weight, cost, complexity, and reduced structural rigidity that comes with that. I think a lot of people would prefer a fixed roof like the 179 JDM NB coupes they made that would weigh less, cost less, be more reliable, and be more rigid: all things Miata owners tend to care about.
