Never heard of them but I remember reading a couple Shadow Zone books by some guy called J. R. Black, even as a kid I could tell that he was trying way too hard to copy the Goosebumps style and that pissed me off.
And now that I googled them I found out they even made a movie of one of those books I read, it even had a Wes Craven cameo wtf
