Last year out of nowhere I got the urge to complete my collection of the original 62 books (I already had about half of them) + the few Ghosts of Fear Street that came out here in Italy (I had around half as well). I didn't care about first editions or other faggotry, just for the pleasure of finally owing them.

usually the distributor sells shows in bundles, my guess here is that they included only the first season in the bundle so that the services would have to pay extra for the subsequent seasons separately if their audiences demanded too loudly
