I've already addressed purity testing. It's irrelevant to the average progressive, and also, "not being morally righteous enough" usually means being exclusionary towards specific minority groups, like what happened to Arch Warhammer with Games Workshop.
Look up "Paradox of Tolerance", it's categorically different, unless the intolerance is overblown e.g. with what happened with the Harry Potter game.

I agree that people shouldn't be obnoxious, but let's say a transwoman superchatter asks what a vtuber thinks about trannies, if I had to choose between her saying "transwomen are fine" or "trannies aren't real women", I'd easily pick the former one.
You don't have to agree with whether transwomen are real women to see that one of these is by definition antagonistic, and the other one is at worst, slightly cringe.
