Exactly that's your problem. How come bitchy annoying ugly npcs get really cushy jobs while average people really struggle to get a decent job. Because of connections, because of some social network that gave them an easy way in.
As for the application thing, I can relate. I was applying for some uni engineering shit a year ago or so and I was number 1 on waiting list out of idk how many. I was crawling to the number 1 through the summer just for me to be cucked. Just 1 mm away from not being a neet, but I'm realising now that fate is guiding me away from uni
