The way I understood it was that ultimately none of them will be magically "saved." Takopi basically didn't do jack shit except talk a lot with all three of them because he couldn't understand their feelings or their situations and therefore couldn't do anything to help them. The only thing they could do was talk things out which would create some kind of mutual understanding and make their situations slightly less shit and/or bearable. This can be seen by the fact none of their family situations resolved in any way. Shizuka's still alone with parents who left her, Marina's dad walked and her mom is still a psycho and Azuma still has an absent father and a bitch mother. The only things that changed are the relationships between the characters. Shizuka and Marina have each other and Azuma has his brother.
So basically takopi's influence traveled across the timelines and created an opportunity for Shizuka and Marina to connect, as well as for Azuma and his brother to connect. That's essentially all that happened. Takopi created an opportunity for the characters to talk, and in doing so their situations improved. The moral of the story I guess would be something along the lines of "talk things out because nobody will understand how you feel if you don't." It's a pretty common theme in japanese media actually. Naturally you can counter with "oh but not everyone just has a magical octopus that'll fix things for them" but I believe that's already answered like I mentioned above. Takopi tried to do a lot of things but ultimately failed miserably, only managing to allow the characters to talk to each other. Had they just talked things out from the beginning, none of the timeline horrors would've happened so to speak. Takopi himself realizes he should've talked with his mother rather than running away and making a giant mess of things as well. Overall I thought it was pretty good but wish it was longer.
