>Kratom is great
Whoa Whoa! I'm the anon that posted the Kratom recommendation on Thursday. I under no circumstances meant to suggest it to be a "FIX" for a serious back problem like a herniated disc in your spine, or any other pain for that matter. At least not in the long term. I just meant to say that it could be a quick hack job until you find a job that's less labor intensive on your back. See a doctor and do it right.

There's several problems with Kratom
>It IS addicting
Don't listen to the redditors that claim that they've been on it for years with no problem. It's an opioid; you WILL build a tolerance to it and need more and more. People that say it's not are just vendors shilling their product.

>You don't know what you're actually getting
There's so many people taking this shit that I find hard to believe that they can get this stuff to your front door in 2 days without them cutting it with something. Supply is low and demand is high. Even if they cut it with dirt...or green tea, eventually some lead is going to get in there (to increase the weight).

>You're going to hurt yourself further
That's like pain killer 101. If the pain goes away but the root problem isn't solved then you're going to move in ways that you wouldn't move if the pain was there, which will make the problem worse, and then you'll have more pain when you stop taking it.

The "DIY" for this problem is to literally go see a doctor and see if physical therapy or changes to your diet, weight, lifestyle, and even work might mitigate the problem. I work with a guy in his 80s and he just lives with the pain....like he tells me he'd miss it if it was gone. Everybody's different, and that's why you need to get specialized attention.

Sadly when it comes to pain management, you really do have to go to the dealership and pay for OEM parts...best wishes bro.
