Everytime I see this image I just feel bad for Iizuka. Of course he must know how autistic the western side of the fandom is and has been for at least most of his career even if he has actively tried to avoid interacting with the fandom. On top of this, people have to realize Iizuka comes from a culture where openly showing facial emotions like that is considered crass, improper and specifically what he does in that image, disrespectful.
This man is cringing.
