do you commute/go to work or school with your bicycle? how is it viewed in your country?

in vietnam, 99,99% people use scooters/motorbikes. richer people use cars. almost nobody use bicycle to commute. I'm actually a very rare breed here. all around me call me dumb or silly and I do agree, however I still just wanna pedal.

the real troubles that make it impossible to ride a bicycle for every occasion is when I need myself to be well prepared. all the sweats and grimes and whatever will ruin me.

also when it rains, the roads might be heavily flooded. like water up to my fucking knees. I cant pedal. drivetrain also quick to rust.

if only weather was colder and less traffic... it would be great
