I wouldn't trust this generals opinion on what makes something 'yuribait'.
You have people who think Yuribait is when a ship is teased, just for the girl to be revealed to be het (Hibike/amanchu/railgun/etc), then you have people who think Yuribait just means subtext, then you have a special few autists who call stuff like G-witch yuribait despite them getting married.

The 'teasing yuri just to turn into het' is less of a thing now though, at least in anime (they still like to do it with gachas for some reason, even when adapting source material that has a primary yuri audience). What's more common nowadays is stuff like the producers getting scared that waifufags won't buy their merch so they try to damage control with 'up to interpretation' statements even though the characters are explicitly in a relationship. Then you have cases like tropical fish where the author goes out of their way to deny the yuri, or whatever was going on with Futaribeya. The mieruko-chan live action movie adaptation also added a male main character to the cast which upset people, but i'm unsure if anything het came from that
