Thanks. I think I will add incest, yeah, having a family member without incest in a weg is odd, but the incest might be extremely slow burn or maybe have flashbacks set the incestuous tones during younger years.
The game will have flashbacks because it'll start with the MC already in the mental hospital. Cold opening. All that. The reason why he is there will be unknown.
So it won't be an "incest weg", but a weg with incest in it.
As for the environments, left renders are a mockup of the rec room, but I'm going more with the vibes of the renders on the right now.
I still want a center hexagonal structure in the middle of the rec room, but more tasteful like the renders on the right. Easier on the eyes.

Well, as for his schizophrenia, it'll casually be shown in random renders and sounds because with schizophrenia you often just have random people standing or just being there, random voices. Not inherently evil looking or sounding. The fear in schizophrenia comes from the sudden appearance of something that shouldn't be there, not that the hallucinations are inherently evil-looking. And hallucinations have object permanence, weirdly enough, so it can't just be "evil shadow man" in every render.
But yes, the MC himself is "haunted" by a perma hallucination which is a female maternal one (more incest potential?) that's been in his mind since he was a baby.
Still have to work through all that, though, find the right spot between creepy and buxom mama for her.
